We can also advise on the most appropriate material specification / dimensions for your type of application. We supply most types of cutting edge material from single & double bevel sections to straight or spade edges in a variety of thickness or grades (Un-heat treated, Heat Treated, Carbon steel or Hardox etc.).
Material Specification Half Arrow Head section can also be supplied in a variety of thickness and widths, Obviously we realise the importance of supplying a product that will last and give customer satisfaction and so that it is to achieve this goal that we supply in a range of materials;- Hardox 400 / 500 hbn material Heat Treated Boron – normally heat treated to a hardness range of approx. 450 –475hbn.
If the customer requirement is for an edge where wear is not a problem for example as a ditching bucket then we can supply in un heat treated boron which has a hardness range of approx. 220 –230hbn. Also in Heat treated or standard materials. Bolt on wear segments are available either to O.E.M. part number or made to measure to specific customer requirements. For those areas of wear on a bucket that need extra protection ( i.e. bucket floor & sides) we can supply either Heat Treated Boron or Hardox wear strips to. We can also supply Bubble wear bar in 3mtr & 6mtr lengths.
