| Universal rock augers have been develpoed to ensure maximum penetration at a constant rate in hard soil conditions and rock. The TC teeth are set on an increasing spiral configuration to provide efficient drilling. The top end of the centre mandril is square and inserted into the kelly box providing maximum resistance to shear. The kelly box is manufactured in heavy steel plate to customers requirements. The lead flights are 40mm thick with succeeding flights 20mm thick.the flights are hot pressed to eliminate the formation of cracks. Pengo® series 604 TC teeth and holders are fitted unless alternatives are specified. NOTE: Augers of any diameter or length can be manufactured on request. Any special type of tooth holder or pilot bit can be fitted on request. |
